fpdg; the thanksgiving edition

it's the week before t-gives.

tell me:
*one thing you're thankful for
*one thing you've wished on this year that hasn't come to fruition, and if that's good or bad
*your typical turkey day celebration

it's not "i never", but you'll drink for all three. lushes.

oh, duh, and i'll play my own:
*thankful for: another year of livin' it up, all my friends and famlo
*wished for/didn't get: hmm. i'm guessing there's someone i had a crush on or something, and thought - that'd be perfect!, only to realize months later it sure wouldn't. well, what is? and,
*average turkey-d is going home to columbus and hanging with immediate family and high school friends all weekend; but day-of to congregate at dad's side of family's house with enormo italian family. this is still fun, but back in the day when it was at my g-ma/g-pa's, it was amazing. just amazing. pretty much what you would imagine, picture on the wall at buca di beppo. i loved it. sadly, many of those people have passed, but i like to reflect about it each year still.

*Drink, (I know it's not nessary, but I'm a creature of habit and I can't bring myself to change) I'm thankful for my impending freedom from college. I am also terrified of this. What now, a job? F* that noise. Currently considering becoming a smuggler.

*Drink, What did I wish for this year? I guess to make it through it? Maybe to enjoy myself a bit more? Well on both counts I think I've succeeded.

*Drink, it's just so appropriate. As it happens, Thanksgiving is my drunken holiday. There's nothing to do but eat, drink, and play games that I completely dominate. So break out the Bailey's because I plan to be two bottles deep before we even cook the bird. Also I like to make allusions to the fact that we're basically celebrating the decimation of an entire civilization. Not that I care. I just like to bring it up.
